Lake Bunyonyi
Lake Bunyonyi is a beautiful and peaceful lake in southwestern Uganda, near Kabale. It is known as the “place of many little birds” because of the many bird species found there.
The lake has 29 small islands and calm, clear water. Visitors can enjoy canoe rides, boat trips, swimming, bird watching, and nature walks. It is also a good place to relax after visiting Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking.
