This 4-day safari takes you deep into the jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half of the world’s endangered mountain gorillas. It is the perfect balance of adventure, culture, and relaxation.

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Bwindi

  • Pick up from Entebbe/Kampala or Kigali.

  • Scenic drive through Uganda’s rolling hills and rural landscapes.

  • Stop at the Equator (if from Kampala/Entebbe) for photos.

  • Lunch along the way.

  • Arrive at Bwindi in the evening, check into lodge, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience

  • Early breakfast and transfer to park headquarters for briefing.

  • Begin gorilla trekking (1–6 hrs depending on gorilla movements).

  • Spend 1 unforgettable hour with the gorillas.

  • Return to lodge for late lunch.

  • Evening at leisure or optional short cultural walk.

  • Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Community & Rest Day

  • Late breakfast – easy start of the day.

  • Visit the Batwa (Pygmy) community for cultural dances, storytelling, and learning about their forest traditions.

  • Join a local coffee-making experience or village craft workshop.

  • Afternoon: relax at the lodge, enjoy forest views, or unwind by a campfire.

  • Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Departure

  • Breakfast and check out.

  • Transfer back to Entebbe/Kampala or Kigali.

  • Drop-off for flight or onward journey.
