Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Mbale via Jinja
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your professional guide and begin your journey east to Mbale. Along the way, there is a relaxing stop in Jinja for lunch and a chance to stretch your legs. Here, you can enjoy the scenic views along the River Nile, take photographs, and soak in the riverside atmosphere before continuing the drive to Mbale. You will check into your hotel in the evening and rest for the night.
Day 2: Mbale Cultural & Community Tour
Spend the day exploring Mbale town and the surrounding highland villages. Visit local coffee farms and interact with the Bagisu people, learning about their traditions, including the famous Imbalu ceremonies. In the afternoon, you can take a horseback ride through the scenic hills around Mbale, offering a unique perspective of the landscape. The day ends with a relaxed evening and overnight stay in Mbale.
Day 3: Mbale – Sipi Falls
Drive to Sipi Falls in the morning, a short distance from Mbale. Take a guided hike to the lower waterfall while enjoying breathtaking views of the Eastern Highlands and the plains below. Day 10: Jinja – Entebbe (Departure)
After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe, stopping for crafts and scenic photography along the way. Arrive at Entebbe International Airport in time for your departure flight, concluding your 10-day adventure through the stunning landscapes and cultures of Eastern Uganda.
