Ssezibwa Falls is a beautiful natural and cultural attraction located about 32 km from Kampala along the Kampala–Jinja road. The falls drop about 17 metres through a rocky gorge into a natural pool.
Ssezibwa Falls is an important cultural and spiritual site in Buganda. According to Buganda legend, a woman gave birth to twins in the form of water, creating the Ssezibwa and Bwanda rivers. The falls have long been visited by Buganda kings and local people seeking blessings, good health and prosperity.
